Account Deletion Policy

We understand that you may wish to delete your account at any time. This page explains what happens when you delete your account and what data is retained or removed.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from our mobile application:

  1. Open the app and go to your Profile section
  2. Navigate to Settings
  3. Scroll down and tap on Delete Account
  4. Confirm your decision by following the on-screen prompts

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Data That Will Be Deleted:

  • Your personal profile information (name, email, phone number, profile picture)
  • Your saved addresses
  • Your wishlist and preferences
  • Your wallet balance (if any remaining balance, please withdraw before deletion)
  • Your loyalty points
  • Your chat history with support or vendors
  • Your account credentials and login information

Data That Will Be Retained:

  • Order History: All your past order information, including order details, transaction records, and delivery information, will be retained for legal, accounting, and business purposes
  • Reviews & Ratings: Any reviews or ratings you have submitted will remain visible but will be anonymized (your name will be replaced with "Deleted User")
  • Transaction Records: Payment and refund records will be kept for financial auditing and compliance purposes

Why We Retain Order Data

We retain order and transaction data even after account deletion for the following important reasons:

  • Legal Compliance: We are required by law to maintain transaction records for tax and regulatory purposes
  • Business Records: Order history helps us maintain accurate inventory, sales, and delivery records
  • Vendor Settlement: We need to maintain records for vendor payments and commission settlements
  • Dispute Resolution: In case of any disputes or chargebacks, we need historical data to resolve issues
  • Fraud Prevention: Historical data helps us identify and prevent fraudulent activities

Important Notes

  • Account Deletion is Permanent: Once deleted, you cannot recover your account or personal data. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use our services again
  • Active Orders: Please ensure all your active orders are completed or cancelled before deleting your account. If you have pending orders, the deletion may be delayed
  • Outstanding Payments: Any outstanding payments or refunds must be settled before account deletion
  • Processing Time: Account deletion is processed immediately, but some data may take up to 30 days to be completely removed from our backup systems

If you\'re concerned about privacy but may want to use our services in the future, consider these alternatives:

  • Logout: Simply logout of your account without deleting it
  • Update Privacy Settings: Adjust your notification and privacy settings in the app
